An attempt at poetry

Flowers blooming in the summer breeze

Bliss dancing as the sun shimmers its heat

Families rejoice at the beautiful long blue beach

As a trickle of water is left behind by a small pond

The patters of animals dancing in the shrubs

As another animal gets ready to pounce and strike

Wind and hail breaking the force and nature of the hot rays

Leaving nothing but a drop of blood behind

Tears shimmer and life ends as we know it

The big blue world we once called home is no more.

All that is heard is the one pond dripping its last drop
