The Avengers: Finally Here!

Today, May 4th(May the forth be with you!), is the day that I have been waiting for.   The Avengers is finally out in theaters!  If you were not raised on everything Marvel like I was, the Avengers are a team of “super heroes” who are brought together by Nick Fury, a super-spy who works for S.H.I.E.L.D(Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage, Law-Enforcement Division).  The reason he brings them together is to fight the evil Loki, who is also Thor’s ‘brother’.  Thor, Hulk, Captain America, and Iron Man are the Avengers, with some help from some not well known heroes.

The Avengers has been predicted to be one of the best movies of 2012.  The only thing that seems to be able to beat it is The Hunger Games.  There has been 5 movies leading up to The Avengers, setting the stage for it, and showing what each Avenger is able to do.  They have done amazing at adding just the right amount of foreshadowing to make even the dullest of people excited.  Each Avenger got there own movie, and Iron Man even got two.  To comic book geeks, this has been the most anticipated movie of the decade.

This movie has a very high standard to reach.  It has been talked about for years, the storyline is already loved, and it has some very good actors.  Iron Man is played by Robert Downey Jr., Hulk is played by Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans is Captain America, and Chris Hemsworth plays Thor.  We have all seen them play their superhero already, so we know that they are already quiet good at it.  But will they preform well with each other?

The directors of the movie have done quiet a good job with connecting all the parts together, showing how they are all related, and how they will all come together in the end.  So, will The Avengers flop, or will it blow our minds?
